Our history
The Bartbut company has been operating since 1972 providing services in orthopaedic shoe production to customers of any age.
Its founder and main specialist, as well as the tutor to the apprentices, is Andrzej Bartczak – a master in orthopaedic shoe production constantly perfecting his craftsmanship both home and abroad.
In the 1970s he gained experience in Poznańskie Zakłady Obuwnicze (Poznań footwear production company), and specialised in this branch afterwards. In the then German Federal Republic, Mr Bartczak achieved a certificate as a master, appraiser, teacher and examiner of students of shoe and bootleg production. His didactic work has resulted in a number of diplomas, honours and awards, yet, above all, it has given him a lot of personal satisfaction.
